Join us on the Neighborhood Women Leadership Walking Tour

This walking tour highlights the role of grassroots women’s leadership in the historical development, growth and vitality of their communities. It also honors at an individual level the work of NW activists and inspires Williamsburg-Greenpoint residents to actively participate in the betterment of their community.

On May 3rd, 2012 we celebrated the first NW Leadership Walking Tour where the women activists talked about their experiences and perspectives. We also unveiled twelve plaques at different sites that honor the important role these women have had in the development of Williamsburg-Greenpoint.
